AIM & SCOPE

It is with great pleasure that I present this edited volume titled "Constitution, Constitutionalism and Constitutional Morality." The book delves into the essential pillars of constitutional thought and governance, focusing on the meaning and significance of the Constitution, the principles of constitutionalism, and the concept of constitutional morality in shaping modern democracies. At a time when legal and political debates surrounding governance and rights are increasingly relevant, this book seeks to contribute meaningfully to those discussions by providing a platform for diverse scholarly voices. The Constitution is more than just a legal document, it represents the foundation of a nation's identity and values. Constitutionalism, in turn, ensures that this document serves as a guide for fair and just governance. Constitutional morality adds a layer of ethical responsibility, reminding us that legal frameworks must also reflect the moral aspirations of the society they govern. Together, these themes are not only essential for legal scholars but for all those who care about the functioning of democratic systems. This volume is enriched by the contributions of scholars and practitioners who have examined the subject from various perspectives. Their insights collectively provide a broad and nuanced understanding of how constitutions function in theory and practice, how constitutionalism evolves in different contexts, and how constitutional morality acts as a safeguard for democratic values. The interdisciplinary nature of this book allows readers to engage with the Constitution not only from a legal viewpoint but from political, philosophical, and ethical dimensions as well. The intended audience of this work includes academics, students, legal professionals, and anyone with a keen interest in constitutional law and its underlying principles. It is my hope that this book will serve as a valuable resource for those studying and practicing law, as well as for policymakers and citizens who wish to better understand the intricacies of constitutional governance. Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the contributors whose works have enriched this volume, and to all those who have supported its creation. Their collaboration, insights, and dedication have made this book possible. I am particularly thankful to my colleagues, family, and friends, whose encouragement and guidance have been instrumental throughout this journey.
